February 23rd 2013 -  Ladies of Cherished Feet paid a visit to residents atGreenhope Services for Women in East Harlem. The women were in need of shoes and welcomed us with hugs.

Cherished travels to the West Coast in 2013 to help the homeless

Cherished Feet began 2013 by traveling to Los Angeles.  The LA Chapter distributed shoes to the men and women living at the Nova Group Home.  The residents were excited to see the smiles of the Cherished Feet volunteers as they receive new shoes.

Spreading the Holiday Cheer in Washington D.C.

Cherished Feet traveled to Washington D.C. to distribute shoes and bring holiday cheer to the women residing at the John L. Young Center.  The women were ecstatic to see Cherished Feet bring in a pop up shoe store and receive new shoes.

Holiday Shoe Distribution at Inwood House

January 3, 2013
Cherished Feet returned to Inwood House at the Upper East Side to distribute shoes to the homeless teen mothers and their children living at this shelter.  These teen mothers are between the ages of 15-17 and their babies are all ages 3 and under.  It was great seeing the staff and bringing hope and smiles to the residents at their holiday party.  All the residents especially the teen mothers were very happy to receive new shoes for their babies and even themselves.

Thanksgiving Shoe Distribution at BRC

December 25, 2012
Cherished Feet returned to BRC Employment Residence at the Lower East Side on Thanksgiving Day to distribute shoes to the homeless women and men living at the shelter.  There were many new faces but there were several residents who were present from last year's shoe distribution.  All the residents were excited to receive brand new shoes.  There was one resident from last year who received a pair of sneakers that lasted him a whole year and returned again to receive a second pair of sho...

Cherished Feet travels to distribute shoes to the forgotten families in the New Dorp Region - Staten Island

November 24, 2012
Cherished Feet traveled to Ebbitts Street located in the New Dorp community of Staten Island.  The area was still without electricity and heat. Families and small children came together to clean up the mess caused when Hurricane Sandy hit the region three weeks ago. Shoes for Hurricane Victims of Broad Channel, NY

Cherished Feet distributed shoes to families affected by Hurricane Sandy in Broad Channel, Queens.  There was a great need of new shoes in the community.  We embraced the brisk cold morning and bonded with families who lost everything and were left in the cold.  We were thrilled to see the smiles on the faces of these families as they received their new shoes.
