Cherished Feet returned to BRC Employment Residence at the Lower East Side on Thanksgiving Day to distribute shoes to the homeless women and men living at the shelter.  There were many new faces but there were several residents who were present from last year's shoe distribution.  All the residents were excited to receive brand new shoes.  There was one resident from last year who received a pair of sneakers that lasted him a whole year and returned again to receive a second pair of shoes.  It was great and rewarding to see the joy and smiles on the faces of the residents as they received their new shoes.
